This page explains what personal data the Ali Dates system and app collect, why, who can see it, and where it is kept. The data controller is Khaled Ali Elkouz and partners - Ali dates, St. 47 Alkaramah, Albalqa, Jordan.
Who uses the system
The system is a working tool for a date-sorting facility. Company staff use it to receive, store, sort and deliver dates; the company's clients use it to see their own records. Every account is created by the company. Nobody can sign up on their own, from the app or the website. Drivers are recorded by name and do not sign in.
What we collect
Account data
- Name, email address and phone number.
- Password — stored only as a one-way hash that nobody can read.
- A profile photo, if the account holder adds one.
Driver data
- Name, phone number, vehicle plate number, and the client the driver hauls for.
- A photo of the driving licence or ID card.
Receiving and delivery notes
- Driver name and plate, the licence or ID photo, and a photo of the vehicle and load.
- The client's representative's name, hand-drawn signatures of the employee and the representative, and the time of signing.
- The employee who recorded the note, weights, counts and dates, and pallet photos when taken.
Notifications
- The device token Firebase uses to reach the phone, the device platform (Android, iOS or web), the app version, and when it was last used.
- Which notification types a client has switched off.
- A record of every notification sent: its text as delivered, to whom, when, and whether it arrived.
Sign-in and security
- App sign-in tokens, each with a device name or browser/app identifier and its last-used time.
- In the admin panel: the sign-in session, with IP address and browser type, which expires after a short period of inactivity.
- Technical error logs on the server, which may contain a user's internal ID.
Why we collect it
- To run the operation: receiving, storing, sorting and delivering dates to their owners.
- To prove handovers: photos and signatures show who delivered and who received.
- To let clients see their own records and documents in the app.
- To notify clients about their own shipments (arrival, delivery, sorting finished) and company messages.
- To protect accounts and know who did what in the system.
Who can see it
- Company staff, each according to their role and permissions in the system.
- A client sees only his own records: his shipments, notes, farms and pallets. His notes show the driver's name and plate and the representative's name, and the printed note shows the licence and load photos of his shipment.
- No client's data is shown to another client.
Where it is kept and who receives it outside the company
- Data, photos and signatures are stored on the company's server. Photos and signatures are kept in private storage that is not reachable from the internet, and are shown only to those allowed to see the note, through links that expire shortly after.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) is used only to deliver notifications. It receives the device token, the notification title and text, the event type, and — where the notice concerns a note — the pallet count, net weight and note reference. It receives no name, email or phone number.
- The admin sign-in page loads its font from Bunny Fonts, which receives the visitor's IP address.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data.
- No advertising, no analytics or tracking tools, no tracking cookies. The admin panel uses session and security cookies only.
Your choices
- Clients can switch off each notification type in the app's settings; signing out of the app deletes the device token.
- Staff can edit their name, email, phone, password and photo in the app; clients ask the company to change theirs.
- To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, contact us (below).
How long we keep it
Data is kept according to the company's retention policy for its business records, because notes and signatures are evidence of transactions. Deleting an account first deactivates it; it is erased permanently at the holder's request or by the company's decision.
Children
The system is a business tool for the company and its clients and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If what the system collects or how it uses it changes, this page and its effective date above will be updated.
